It can be hard to shake the chill in the winter in Rochester, here are my top 3 places I go to escape the cold locally!
For just $3 you can escape to a tropical, desert, botanical oasis! These indoor gardens in Highland Park take you on the cheapest vacation with an escape to 70 degrees & humidity!
If you like to be warm like me, driphouse Is the place to go! You lay down for an hour, watch tv, and sweat... The picture to the left Is from the first time I went! It is a great winter activity to sweat out toxins AND be the warmest you will be all week!
Visit a Sauna
There are various locations to enjoy saunas around Rochester! I currently don’t have one that I feel I can strongly recommend over another but have thoroughly enjoyed the Infrared Saunas over the traditional ones! A variety of local spas (and sauna specific businesses) have popped up around ROC In the last couple years, meaning there Is one likely near you!
