Spooky, Scary, & Ghostly Halloween Events This Fall in Rochester & the Finger Lakes

Spooky, Scary, & Ghostly Halloween Events This Fall in Rochester & the Finger Lakes

I am not someone who likes being scared. I am not a jump scare girlie. However, that doesn't mean I don't want to find ways to celebrate the season! Now, not all of these events are Hope approved, but I know I can be the minority when it comes to how people want to spend the Halloween season. Check out the below places and make a plan to check them out this month! Right now the only "place" I have is Haunted Housel, the rest of the spots in this blog are events based!

Haunted Housel on County Road 4

Hopewell, NY

Located just outside of Canandaigua is Haunted Housel, also known as "the house with the skeleton army". For those that like Halloween, you have to check it out! I am not someone who likes to be scared and was pleasantly surprised they had non-scare nights in addition to scare nights. Check their facebook page for live weather updates and for more information.

Rochester Candlelight Ghost Walks

Rochester, NY

Various times throughout the month

I did a ghost walk in college at Mt. Hope and it was such a fun time... If you haven't picked up I don't like being scared, I hate being scared. I am not a jump scare girlie. HOWEVER. The ghost walks are different. It is more about the stories. It is still a little spooky but not in the way that a haunted house is. This website has a variety going on if you want to check it out!

Here was a sneak peak of Spooky Events I found across the area, I hope you find ways to explore the Greater Rochester Area and get into the Halloween spirit! Stay tuned for new blog posts each month!
